Welcome to Year 3!
Our adults are Miss Middleton, Ms Hare, Miss Regan, Miss Hodgetts and Ms Huber
We love learning in Year 3. We work hard in our lessons and love the opportunity to be hands on with problem solving! We are also thrilled to be working with Severn Arts this year. We are currently learning to play the ukulele! 3H will go first and 3M after. We wonder if there will be any budding musicians in our year group?
In Reading, we are loving the Secret Life of Rocks, children have been really engaged with this non-fiction text.
In Maths, we are just completing our work on Fractions. We will be doing statistics next. In Writing, we are writing to persuade. Children will be exploring different adverts and writing a tourism advert.
As Scientists, we have been learning about rocks, fossils and soil. Children loved learning about Mary Anning. In our next unit we will be learning about light.
We have just begun learning about the Ancient Egyptians in History. In French, we will be learning about numbers and French playground games. In PE, we are fortunate to have the Kidderminster Harriers in this half term for football and we will also be doing dance on a Tuesday afternoon.
