DESCRIPTION:Parents and family are warmly invited to these events. \nWe have made every effort to carefully consider the timeslots to enable all parents the opportunity to attend regardless of working commitments. We are accounting for 120 seats available for each performance. This means that across all four performances for each Nativity\, there should be plenty of availability for families. \nTickets may be ordered through your sQuid account\, going live on Monday 21st November.  In the first instance\, you will be able to reserve two tickets for any performance. On Monday 28th November\, all remaining tickets will be opened up on a first come first served basis for you to reserve additional tickets for any performances. \nPlease note\, we are performing two Nativities this year as a one off only\, as pupils in Yr 3&4 have missed out through Covid. Next academic year\, the Yr 3/4 performance will be at the end of the Summer Term. \n\n\n\nPerformance Time\nMonday 12th December\nTuesday 13th December\n\n\n10.30am-11.30pm\nN-Yr 2\nYr 3-4\n\n\n2pm-3pm\nYr 3-4\nN-Yr 2\n\n\n4pm-5pm\nN-Yr 2\nYr 3-4\n\n\n6pm-7pm\nYr 3-4\nN-2\n\n\n\nLogistics: \n4pm Performances: Children are expected to remain in school. \n6pm Performances: Children may remain in school or children may elect to go home at 3pm and return to school at 5.30pm ready for the 6pm performance start. Sandwiches/toast and spreads will be provided as a snack for pupils staying in school. \nAt the end of after school performances\, children will return to designated classrooms where parents/carers will be able to collect their children from classroom external doors\, as normal. This helps us to ensure the safest handover is maintained.

SUMMARY:Gotta Sing!
DESCRIPTION:The Orchards School Choir will join local school choirs from across Redditch who will all be performing  a number of songs.  \nLetter sent previously: \nDear Parents and Carers\, \nThe Year 4 choir have been practising incredibly hard for their upcoming performance at Gotta Sing\, Redditch Palace Theatre on Wednesday 15th June. \nOn the day\, the children will remain in school. We will be travelling by coach to the Redditch Palace Theatre\, ready for a rehearsal at 5pm before the show starts at 7pm. Your child will need to have full school uniform with them for the day and needs to bring a packed dinner to eat at the venue. \nIf your child is attending Parkside Middle School for a transition afternoon on Wednesday 15th\, they need to return to school for 4pm in their full school uniform. \nFamilies are warmly welcomed to attend the show at 7pm as an audience member\, and tickets must be purchased through https://www.redditchpalacetheatre.co.uk/whats-on/shows/ – school is unable to book tickets for you. \nThe show will finish at around 9:30pm. You can choose to collect your child from the venue directly after the show\, or from school at 10:15pm. \nTo cover the coach costs\, we are asking for £8.60 per child which can be paid on sQuid. \nThe event will be recorded\, however will not be made public. We have requested for a password to be placed on our video and this will be shared with you after the event. \n  \nIf you have any questions\, please speak to Mrs Richardson.
